Raistlin's Orb as a company has been around, in one form or another, for the past 10 years and specialising in bridal accessories for the last 18 months.It was set up by myself whilst I was still at university. Since then it has developed, with my husband Karl coming on board with much needed computer support and a growing network of agents promoting our work around the country.

Like many tiara designers, I first became interested in designing and making my own designs when I started planning my own wedding 2 years ago. Whilst this was a new outlet for my talents, it was almost like coming full circle for me as I studied both metalwork and textiles at university and produced a range of fantastical costumes and accessories for my degree show. I have a B.A.Hons in Crafts and as well as running Raistlin's Orb I am also a full time Art teacher. Many of my designs are inspired by the wide range of beads and jewels that I find but I am also influenced by shapes from nature, historical and decorative arts and more unusually architecture. Designing wedding accessories really is an amalgamation of everything I loved about my degree work and knowing full well as a bride how important it is to find the perfect accessory to THE DRESS! I design and hand make all the tiaras personally and everyone is made specifically to order to allow you to personalise it as much as you wish.
